One day, a man was gifted an exotic innerwear by his wife on the occasion of their wedding anniversary, and that is when it stuck him, why is male innerwear vogue so under-rated, why isn’t it so common. That is how it all began. The man in the story is called Yogesh Mittal, the woman is called Ankita Mittal, and the beginning with no end is called EliteString Apparels (La Intimo).
Fast Forward to the year 2018 and your much-loved startup, La Intimo is sharing the limelight with several coveted startups to win the title of the best. Having reached the semi-finale of the fifth installment of the ‘Runway To Success’- the platform that has given recognition to several startups in the past, we can’t help but reminisce some of the important moments from La Intimo’s journey that kept us going better.

Keeping all this in mind, we feel it’s better to address Yogesh Mittal as a RISK TAKER, rather than calling him the MD of La Intimo.
La Intimo began its operations in the year 2013. “Despite financial stress in the initial years and professional stress at times, this business has been an incredible learning experience”, recounts Yogesh Mittal. Giving all the credit of his success to his family, Yogesh highly regards his wife Ankita Mittal’s support and his brother Neeraj Mittal’s undeterred faith in him and his vision, which always motivated Yogesh to keep working on La Intimo despite constant doubts and low times. Gradually, La Intimo started grabbing eyeballs. Yogesh Mittal always cherishes his first feature in the magazine 'LaceNLingerie' in the year 2015.
Another important moment we’d like to share was when La Intimo participated in the first ever India Intimate Fashion Week (IIFW), a platform dedicated to intimate wear/ lingerie with an aim of breaking stereotypes about intimate fashion.
